AASW Accredited Social WorkerAASW Advanced Supervision ProgramAASW Accredited Family Violence Social Worker

I work predominantly in the domestic and family violence sector, women’s health sector, and the broader not-for-profit sector, providing specialist consulting and supervision services.

An accredited family violence social worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers, I have 18 years’ experience with the domestic and family violence sector, child protection, family support, counselling, and disabilities.

During the last 13 years of my work in these sectors, I specialised in the executive management of not-for-profit organisations, programs and teams with a strong focus on justice and equality for women and elimination of domestic and family violence.

For over a decade, I was the Chief Executive Officer for the Domestic Violence Action Centre (Ipswich and Toowoomba regions). I was instrumental in building and developing the organisation from a grass-roots domestic violence service provider for Ipswich and surrounds, to one of the largest specialist family and domestic violence and sexual assault service providers in Queensland, with 60+ staff, servicing the Ipswich, Toowoomba, Darling and Southern Downs regions.

I have extensive knowledge in:

  • coaching, mentoring and professional supervision at all levels;
  • strategic and operational review and planning;
  • implementing customised information and communication technology platforms;
  • organisational and clinical practice policies and procedures development;
  • compliance and reporting checks and balances;
  • funding submissions;
  • group facilitation and training; and
  • government and NGO co-design processes.

Through my work with Inner Vision Consulting, I have been able to share my specialist knowledge and practice wisdom with professionals and organisations in the human services sector in purposeful, deliberate processes, inspiring them to realise their vision.
